How I Got Started.
Well have you ever thought of starting your own blog? Inistally i thought it all to hard, and at first believed it easier to just get someone to do it for me. So i went to fiverr.com and empolyed a seller to do it for me. Yes you can do it this way, but? The problem with this method is that even when your blog is setup, you have to have some idea of how to do the basics. You got to know the terminoligy, and whats the best theme. You got to know about the best plugins, whats the content of either and do they suit your site etc……
Seemed insurmountable to me but I took the bull by the horns and decided to just do it myself. So over a period on a month or so I applied for a domain name through blue host.
Is a URL the same as a domain name? Surprisingly to many, the answer is no. But the terms are used so interchangeably, it’s understandable why people confuse one for the other. But there is a difference. A domain name is part of a URL, which stands for Uniform Resource Locator. You can see the visual difference in the following example: http://www.anotherdaymeandering.com/domian-name/index. The domain name is anotherdaymeandering.com. The URL is the complete address.

4. Fiverr.
I required a mentor in learning how to construct a web site. Although i self taught myself i can be very frustrating when something just doesn’t work. Or is complicated in some way that i just didn’t understand. so when i got to the point where i was going to pull my hair our i would talk to my mentor. I found my montor on Fiverr. Give a brief description of what you want them to do and they will give you a price. They are very competitive as most work out of asia, mainly India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, some from eastern europe.
