Quite often the initial contact is done by WhatsApp, zoom or skype, but this time we were already touring in Portugal in our caravan. So we headed 40 minutes outside Lisbon and met our temporary doggy family, little Gus and Harry and the beautiful Lucy. Aren’t they gorgeous?

We’ve made some lovely friends housesitting. This THS housesit was for our friend Hilda in southern Portugal. Burgau is a small fishing village close to the city of Lagos in the Algarve region.

Manly is a bayside suburb of Brisbane and we looked after the beautiful red Kelpie Boof (and his little brother Midnight, a rather large and lovable black cat) for a dear friend while she worked overseas.
